Shirodhara is both therapeutic and rejuvenating. An Ayurvedic treatment, where a warm, soothing continuous flow of medicated oil is poured over the third eye to stabilize and bring the body and mind into a state of harmony.
The flow of oil has a direct calming effect on the nervous system, helping to restore balance. After the flow of oil a gentle head massage is given and specific marma points are worked to help further balance the senses. |
